In my mind Ronno was a massive part of Bowie's history even although he was only there for a small part of his career.
(And in the photos you can see that Bowie did seem rather "attached" to Ronno )

Some more little Mick Rock Bowie & Ronno images.

The last wee one is just added because everyone's recollections on first seeing 'Starman' on TOTP's seems to be Bowie putting his arm round Ronno.

Mine is that little dweeb in the tank top behind Bowie pretending he's dancing whilst smiling away to himself throughout the whole performance as he watched himself on the overhead monitor.

Know this is a pix post but thought this deservedly should be posted here as it is a Mick Ronson thread and is rather poignant as I think it's Mick's last TV appearance,playing Ziggy songs alone in an empty Hammersmith Odeon.

Also poignant that in an hour long BBC documentary primarily focused on Bowie the last sound and vision is Mick Ronson.

Thanks for all the great Ronno pictures and for drawing peoples attention to Mick's contribution to David's rising star.

I'm trying to get Mick into the Rock 'n' Roll hall of fame in Cleveland, and have been since 2008, David wrote a personal letter on behalf of the campaign to have his dear friend elected.
