Well, I don't know. I'm a bit miffed about The Next Day Extra. Why should we buy the whole album again only to get the extra tracks? Or will there be a separate CD?

..................'Extra' Random Ramblings/Rantings ..............
FROM WAWN TO YAWN.hyperbole
noun formal › a way of speaking or writing that makes someone or something sound bigger, better, more exciting, etc etc. than they are:1.Hyperbole has always been a favourite word of mine.
2.The method of release for 'Where Are We Now?' was sheer genius.
3.But isn't it all wearing a bit thin now as davidbowie.com goes into hyperbolic overdrive spewing forth spoilers and cryptic clues, rather than just letting us go down the shops to buy(or not buy)the product.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned?
4.I've always thought that the saddest gits on the planet are those folx that film themselves "Unboxing" their latest Bowie purchase, be it the latest limited edition box set or limited edition book (moreso if they wear white gloves) and then upload the video to YouTube.
Seems Bowie,davidbowie.com have just joined that club with this.5."Good news coming." Did I tell you hyperbole is a favourite word of mine?6.Why do folx type WAWN ? Are their lives so hectic that they don't have the time to type 'Where Are We Now'. Probably the same busy folx who type TRAFOZSATSFM no doubt?
7.'Where Are We Now?' indeed.
I'm waiting for November 4th to jump on a train and go down the city centre to one of those old establishments called a record shop to buy 'The Next Day Extra' without all the hyperbole and "spoilers" to then make up my own mind ......
Hmph!

[“Keep your 'lectric eye on me babe” Good news coming.]
Yeah, if this isn't a tour of some sort, who are they kidding?

At least it keeps the "sad speculative" 'internet Bowie fans' happy.
Four of the trax are already up on YouTube if you know where to "look" but I won't post links, or the guy's channel will get hit by copyright notices (Others can do that).Just learned that my local friendly record store now has his supply of 'The Next Day Extra' in stock for Monday's release.
Did I say that my friend owns the shop?

"Little Wendy Cocaine stumbles up the hill to pain. Nothing stops the go-to girl, nothing takes the place of taking aim...
Little Wendy's out there shaking hips and cuckoo eyes. Crazy drives the dizzy crowd, moonlight strokes the highlights in her hair ..." P.S. Incidentally, all my The Next Day Extra videos were uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday 30th but unlisted/unpublished (apart from I'd Rather Be High -Venetian Mix which I posted on Halloween) until folx started getting their copies to save moi arguing with YouTube's copyright police.
And in Reality they're just little Bowie adverts anyway.
