Latest dross on eBay....
You would think that after they went to all that trouble they'd remember to include the record company logo?

Great Jack, I was hoping you'd post these. Any chance of uploading the NME article as well? No time to read them now, but will do soon!

THE NEXT (RANT) DAY
I seriously think some eBay sellers are on drugs or think Bowie fans are that gullible and desperate for "new product" that they'd actually pay £250.00 for this 'limited edition of 50' nonsense which any Bowie fan can 'knock up' for 15 pence using their home computer.

AND I SAY TO MYSELF....
Hmmmm ... I must be becoming a rubbish Bowie fan?
I've bought every Bowie single since my pocket money afforded back in "73 in all it's formats "7 vinyl (including all the foreign picture sleeves that I could lay my hands on),12" vinyl, coloured vinyl, picture disc vinyl ("7 & 12"),cassette singles, video singles,CD singles etc etc ad nauseum in an OCD fashion retracing my steps to buy any of the above that I missed or couldn't afford or locate once I "grew up" and had my own monies when becoming of employment age.
It's like the end of a 'Bowie lifestyle' after buying hundreds of "singles" to realise that I didn't rush out and buy the 'Where Are We Now' "single" and the news of this new Bowie "single" 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)' leaves me underwhelmed and I know I won't be rushing out to buy it either.
Then again no one "rushes out" anymore, you just click your mouse a couple of times then your credit card is debited for the joy of buying something that you can't see If your PC is turned off.
And even although the new image 'advertising' the new Bowie "single" is kinda cool why do "Bowie Fans" applaud "the new cover"?
It's an image/"a thumbnail" on your PC when you buy it,it's not a "cover".
But like said I've become a rubbish Bowie fan.
Come March when I've got on the bus and went to one of the last remaining record stores in my city then went home and have the vinyl album and the varying editions of the CD in my hands and they're blasting from my sound system then I'll be a "proper Bowie fan" again?
Hmmmmm ....
Jack
P.S. Maybe I ...
CAN'T HELP THINKING ABOUT ME

The Stars/WAWN? for RSD limited edition vinyl 7”
“The Stars (Are Out April)”
"The Stars (Are Out Tonight) backed with Where Are We Now? is scheduled for a limited edition vinyl 7” 45 Record Store Day release on April 20th 2013.
Both tracks are from the forthcoming “The Next Day” album and this 7” joins the previously announced RSD 7” vinyl releases: the Drive-In Saturday picture disc and the Bowie 1965! EP.
The Stars (Are Out Tonight) will still be available digitally a week from now on February 26th, as we mentioned on Saturday."..............................................................................................
So we are getting a vinyl edition of both Where Are We Now? & The Stars (Are Out Tonight) albeit both on one vinyl 7" single and as part of the fiasco that is Record Store Day.
Whoopie Doo !
That excited I can't even be bothered giving it it's own thread as it's an insult to Bowie fans.
And are folx lives that chaotic and hectic that they don't have the time to type a proper song title anymore?
"WAWN" has my brain reading it as YAWN !!

"Seek And Ye Shall Find"
That's always been my motto H.
I'm guessing the advertising campaign will come in lots of variations.
