Have fallen in love with this band recently, they make the most beautiful music which is mostly instrumental.
They are from Iceland and sing in a language known as 'Hopelandic'.

A truly sublime band Kat!
I discovered them from watching the excellent movie Vanilla Sky.
Came home and googled the soundtrack then bought everything Sigur Ros from Amazon.
I'd imagine most folx would listen to their music whilst in a bath of bubbles or whilst smoking some weed?(not that I condone drugs as I've never taken them) but moi,I find them great to load all their music into the sound system and hit 'random' then just go through the day doing housework/studying or general faffing about.

First heard 'Hoppipolla' in this wedding clip my Spanish teacher showed us and I really loved the song and spent like a year wondering what it was then one day I came accross it and bought 2 albums. I also love to listen to them if I'm studying or reading  |
