Loved this gig and they even made a point of doing 'Hallo Spaceboy' twice for "the forthcoming video" then we ended up with that 'Pet Shop Boys' nonsense.
Hopefully the original version will lie gathering dust in the vaults as I was a bit mental that night.
In this video I'm behind the camera man.
I had to bribe the management with 10 Big Twix wrappers. )

A twelve hour return car journey with all the exspence of accommodation and such for Bowie doing six songs...
Was it worth it?
Of course it was!!
Bloody program never gave any indication of which performer was on when and I'd just spent the day trawling London bars so needless to say I was away at the back ordering pizza when Bo came on and it took me a whole song to get back to where I was,so in reality I saw 5 songs properly.
Would have paid all the exspence just for the memory of seeing Bowie doing one song on a cold dark drink fuelled night at Wembley Stadium ..... Drive In Saturday !!
As you can see from the video he was at his coolest.

A strange affair.
A rather excellent version of The Jean Genie. I hope you like?

As promised Pt 3.
Not the greatest of sound (+vision ) but as the first wee video explains... a secret gig no one knew about were Bowie & band were not publicized and in semi darkness for most of the show and If I recall correctly Bowie only spoke at the end to introduce the band then said "Goodnight!" and the band departed.

Can't remember seeing any footage from the Glasgow Apollo 1978 Stage Isolar II shows but I have that many videos full of bibs and bobs that maybe I have?
Anyways my fourth Bowie gig ever... (the previous three nights being the first three. )
Not the greatest of quality visual & sound but still nice to see a little visual record that I didn't think I'd ever see.
